frankenstein sonnet

you know your little darling
cloned vengeance
night pretends to close its eyes
category five mounts

madness embarks on lears valley
granulated quiet
some dumb drops
youll beg for death

distance doesnt separate
limbs supinate
lies you create
suppurate like exploding transformers

canibalism becomes you
you were your first victim

Ahhh..I have the honour of being the first to comment..and I shall seize it
:))

'you were your first victim'
That to me is the climatic summation! For aren't we all our own victims, our own worst enemies?!!
Very interesting!

this connected in a way a work of art does even when you don't fully understand it on some instant and unknown way. really like it. don't know why but i hear jazz playing as i read it.

Love this, how to make Frankenstein sexy as well as dark

I'm glad you got to be first, Pins! Yes there is a self-cannibalsm aspect to life, sadly! Thanks for the wise comments and I hope your father is getting better!

Wow cj, right on the mark! I intend jazz to be my music as I write. You're the first to have mentioned this. Accessability in poetry is another important issue for me too! A lot of the time my poems are pretty much "what you see is what you get" but I also like the Rorschach effect when a poem is a bit on the criptic side.

Thanks Sue! I hope you got as much pleasure reading this as I did writing it! The sonnet form has some really neat aspects.
